Ms. Yinka Oladele is a respected entrepreneur, community leader, and tireless volunteer whose work has significantly impacted African, Caribbean, and newcomer communities in Calgary and beyond.

She is the Founder of Ola Consulting, an event and wedding management consulting firm, a visionary leader behind EXPO Africa, Calgary’s first multicultural African-Caribbean business trade show, and the Co-Founder of the Oladele Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer and other life-altering health challenges through education, advocacy, and compassionate care.

Deeply committed to service, Ms. Oladele is widely recognized for her generosity of time, mentorship, and leadership. Over the years, she has supported newcomer integration, career development, and mentorship initiatives, encouraging individuals and families as they build meaningful lives and careers in Canada. She continues to mentor emerging professionals and practicum students while creating pathways for newcomers to access employment and professional growth opportunities.

Ms. Oladele’s dedication to entrepreneurship and community service has earned her numerous awards and recognitions from organizations such as the Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary (NCAC), Yoruba Foundation Calgary, and Centre for Newcomers Calgary. She has also been recognized with the BlackGold Award for Small Business of the Year, Afro-Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year (Women Category), and the Entrepreneur Heroes of Heroes Award organized by Diversity Magazine in Edmonton. She was previously nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.

Above all, Ms. Oladele is a woman of many hats; a wife, mother, sister, mentor, advisor, and leader – whose life’s work reflects a deep commitment to empowering others and building stronger, more inclusive communities.
