Leslie Schroeder is a woman living with ovarian cancer.  It has been a long journey which started in June 2010 with her diagnosis at the age of 49. In the eight years since that diagnosis Leslie has undergone 3 major surgeries to remove tumors, masses and lymph nodes.  She has endured 40 rounds or chemotherapy, has had 3 recurrences of ovarian cancer and is currently in remission for the 4th time. This life changing diagnosis has inspired Leslie to share her story to raise awareness of this often overlooked and under diagnosed disease. Never shy to talk about her experiences with cancer Leslie‘s hope is that her words will resonate with women listening so that they will be proactive about their health. Leslie is blessed to have great support in her husband, sons, parents, siblings, family, colleagues and friends.
